who do not like popcorn, tell us "they don't understand it" but they
love this popcorn! We honestly believe that everyone will like this
combo!
After trying popcorn from many, many suppliers we chose the popcorn that has the best flavor and had the highest percent popping rate. We place quality over price, and only wanted the best. Our popcorn kernels are certified organic and American grown.
This oil is wonderfully unique. It is made by blending our certified organic expeller pressed coconut oil with our Orangutan-friendly Natural Red Palm Oil. The orange color comes from the high amount of vitamin A (Carotenoids), E (Tocopherols), and Tocotrienols it contains. While other popcorn oils contain partially hydrogenated oils as well as chemicals, this oil contains stable oils and fat-soluble antioxidant vitamins!
If you read the labels on most popcorn seasonings you will likely wonder if they are good for your family. Many times foods taste great but they have ingredients you hesitate to ingest. Therefore, it has become our mission to create Seasonings that add nutrients to your diet without using chemicals, favor enhancers, flowing agents, preservatives, food colors, etc. This seasoning begins with nutritional yeast as its base and makes chips, popcorn and other snack foods mouthwateringly delicious. A story from the Wilderness....
When we first moved to the Wilderness I purchased 50 pounds of organic
popcorn. Unfortunately, the wilderness lifestyle was very labor consuming and
between the grinding of grain by hand to make my own bread, the pumping of
water by hand to haul every drop needed into the house, taking care of
animals and gardens in the middle of the wilderness and caring for 7
children, we did not have as much popcorn in the evenings as I had
envisioned. I was just too exhausted!
Needless to say, 8 years later I still had some organic
popcorn in my 5 gallon bucket. When added to corn or soybean oil only
about 1/4 of them would pop. Therefore, this bucket was placed in
the back of my pantry and probably should have been fed to the chickens and
geese. 2 years later we began importing coconut oil. It was shortly after
that that I tried popping this 10 year old popcorn in coconut
oil. Much to my surprise every kernel popped! I was
quite astonished.
