Capsules bought in the store are so expensive and often times very poor quality. When you buy herbs by the capsule you are usually paying around $60 a pound and for herbs that may be only worth $3-$5 a pound. They are rarely labeled as wild crafted or organic! Yet it's so simple to fill capsules!

Herbs must be finely powdered to encapsulate them. Two "00" capsules are considered the adult standard dose. It takes approximately one ounce of herb to make 30 capsules. Each "00" capsule contains about 1/2 teaspoon of herb.

Though the Capsule Filling Machine only does 24 capsules at a time, as you load the machine with capsules you place the tops in one tray and place the bottoms in another. Then once you have filled the bottoms with your powdered herbs, you simple place the two tray halves together and press. The capsules automatically go together with little effort.

Directions on using the Capsule Filling Machine:
Both sizes include tamping tool and stand. Each CAPSULE MACHINE is also packed with one desiccant bag. It is used to keep capsules dry.

1. Put base on stand. Separate capsules. Put large part of capsule in base, small part in top (open ends up). (Click on above picture to see zoomed image of parts.)	2. Put base on shallow bowl or plate. Pour powder, spread with enclosed card.
3. Use tamping tool to compact powder, if desired, and then pour in more powder. Spread excess off of open corner into bowl or plate.	4. Replace top. Remove Capsule Machine from base. Put on flat surface. Press down firmly until unit bottoms out.
5. Capsules are automatically joined and held in top.	6. Press top evenly and firmly: Capsules are automatically ejected.

Directions for Using the Cap-M-Quik - Cap-M-Quik for size '00' capsules
With the Cap-M-Quik you open up 50 capsules, placing them in wells. Then you raise the platform and pour powdered herb out onto it. Using any small card, you scoop the herb over all the holes and tap the device a few times to settle the herbs down in their respective capsules. Then you lower the platform and recap capsule bottoms now full of herb. My children down to my 5 years old can do this with only a little supervision. It's that easy.

Make sure your hands are dry when working with capsules. Any moisture will cause them to stick together. Store capsules in Ziplock bags or glass jars away from moisture, light and heat. Moisture will ruin the capsules and light and heat will breakdown the medicinal properties of the herbs. You can make single herb capsules or combine herbs to make combinations like a cold or flu formula, or one for the heart and high blood pressure, or memory, or the eyes, or blood purification, the possibilities are limitless.
