I have used the oil for popcorn and it does a fine job and tastes good.However, I must add that, when low on butter, I have used it for frying eggs, spread on corn-on-the-cob, and to put on boiled potatoes. The result: YUM YUM!!! I actually wish it came in a larger amount! Thanks for the great product.

I just bought this with an order about 3 weeks ago and I am already half way through the bag! I have been using olive oil to pop them, because it was all I had on hand, but there has been a low amount of unpopped kernels anyway! My fiancé and I LOVE them and he even likes them more than microwave popcorn (Why wouldn't he?). We highly recommend them.

Place the product in the bottom of container, add just a few tablespoons warm water, stir, and add more liquid, even cold, and you won't have clumps. I just spent 75 dollars on Super Organic brand and it was gross. Didn't even taste like coconut. This stuff if much better. No comparison.

Due to a shortage here a couple years back, I ended up at that time ordering 5 gallons of a 'Gold Label' coconut oil from a different company. I finally almost used it all up and was able to order from Wilderness Family Naturals another 5 gallons of the Virgin Cold Pressed Organic coconut oil. Having them both side-by-side... what a difference! The WFN coconut oil is smoother, creamier, more melt-in-your-mouth'ish, and has a yummier taste, and I mean yummy. Also, (this is a biggie, but kind of weird, meaning I can't explain it) spoonfuls of the other 'gold' product made me almost gag every time. It was very difficult to eat that company's product directly off the spoon. I had to eat it with a banana to be able to swallow. I don't know why that is, but that's how it was for the whole 5 gallons. Yikes! Not so with the WFN coconut oil! It is sooo delicious and easy to eat! Spoonfuls are like a treat. And my kids wouldn't get near a shake with the 'other' company's oil, but now with this oil they say "yummm"! I'm never going to that other company for coconut oil again. That's for sure.

I have been using this for the partial sweetener in my water kefir. My kefir grain love it!! They had stopping growing but with this sugar they are going nuts and multiplying like crazy! The kefir is so active while its brewing. I am sold on this and will buy this again.

Other than the sticker on the bag, I don't really know if there is a difference between these chips and those intended for humans. I would like to know if there is a difference...
My dogs love these. They are middle sized dogs (30 & 50 lbs.) and would really like a bigger mouth full, but otherwise the coconut treats are perfect. I sometimes sprinkle them on top of their regular food to add a little extra flavor and nutrition.
The fun thing that I discovered is that my cat loves them, too! He often shows up to sample whatever the dogs are eating, but after tasting these treats he sat and begged right along with them. In fact, when he dropped one and my youngest dog tried to get it, my kitty was NOT gonna allow him to have it!
How fun to have a great treat that my whole furry family can enjoy!
BTW - The human coconut chips are the same price. Unless WFN tells us a reason that these are better for our pets, next time I will probably get those so that the humans can eat them right along with feeding the furbabies!

This oil is excellent. It is super smooth, delicious, and does everything we need it to do without any challenges. We add it to mashed winter squash, fry potatoes, beef and veggies in it, eat it off a spoon, and use it for baking and occasionally to bulk up icing on treats. We don't eat grain, dairy, legumes, refined sugars or any synthetic foods- just meat, vegetables, fruits, and animal and coconut fats, so we use it a lot. We haven't found that any of the coconut oil we've eaten previously compares favourably to this oil. We had some left over of two other brands (both well-known and loved by many- also organically processed like this one), and they both tasted sort of bland and had a granular texture after I tried this oil to compare them. We had a spoonful-for-spoonful taste-testing, lol. Anyway, we will continue to buy this as long as it is made available (so, always, right? :).
No less significant to us was the absolutely flawless, very kind customer service we received on the telephone when the online cart wouldn't allow us to complete our order. Thank you so much. We plan to be repeat customers. Just excellent. Really. :)

I've been using this deodorant for many years now and it never fails me. I love that I'm using something natural and not filled with dangerous chemicals like fragrances and, hello?!, ALUMINUM.
I love the scent too. I'm a woman, but the scent in my opinion is totally gender-neutral. Just smells lightly citrusy but not like a cleaning product. ;)

This is by far the best tasting coconut milk/cream product I have ever had. It is very rich and creamy and tastes much fresher than the stuff in the can. I made ice cream with just two packages of this and a melted 70% Lindt bar and some vanilla extract and it was delicious. I have also been whipping it and topping mangos with it and it really does whip up like they claim it does. I also use it for thai curries and love it. It's also really good in smoothies and as a coffee creamer. I ordered both the milk and cream last time, but in the future I will just order the cream and water it down myself when needed.

What an absolute pleasant surprise it was to find Coconut Oil (Cold Pressed, Centrifuge Extracted) at my local health food store! I use it instead of olive oil to do all of my stir frying. It provides a unique, tropical flavor that surpasses any restaurant!
I additionally use it in lieu of butter or oils while making breads in my bread-maker. I even cook eggs in it then add salsa as a topping. My family and guests love it!
Sometimes I'll add it to a smoothie for a nice tropical change. It sounds crazy, I know, but it makes the smoothie smoother and it ends up tasting like a Pina Colada!
Never did I realize the potential of this product! Thank you for providing an alternative to trans fat and other options out there. I feel better inside and out for having your Coconut Oil in my pantry!

This makes great cream for coffee and tea. As someone mentioned, it does have lumps, but they're easy to deal with. I make 1 quart batches at a time because we go through it fast. I sift the powder into hot, but not boiling water (it will curdle). Then I throw the lumps into a ziplock bag. Next time, I whack the bag of lumps with a rubber hammer. The lumps turn into powder again right away with little effort (I do it the next time or they will lump again).

I have been searching for years for this wild rice seasoning and I finally found it. I grew up spending my childhood in Minnesota and it was there that we discovered this seasoning. Every time my father would travel through he'd pick up a jar of this and some rice. Mom would make regular white rice, wild rice and mix in sour cream and this seasoning. Pure heaven in a bowl. I'm not that big of a fan of the coconut taste in general but am a believer in the use of coconut oil. I just eat this oil off the spoon. I am on a ketogenic diet where you eat lots of fats and proteins but very few carbohydrates. I tried the Cold Pressed along with the Centrifuged one and the Cold Pressed definitely wins in taste. I'm sorry but..to me, the centrifuged had more of a cardboard-ish taste to it. I don't know why but that's what I got out of it. Will be purchasing a bigger jar of the Cold Pressed in the future.

Over the years I have tried numerous organic salad dressings with nothing much to say about them except that they had slightly better ingredients than store bought ones, but that was not always true.
However, this Mango Pepper dressing stands out so much I had to write a review! The flavors are fresh simply bursting in your mouth as you are eating your salad.
Plus you can use this as a marinade which I haven't done as of yet. This dressing is so...good you could eat it with a spoon. Give it a try, you won't be sorry.

This one is my favorite! I have to show my support because I can see how this flavor can be a little misunderstood. But combining brazil nuts with pecans and pumpkin seeds is genius! It has a uniquely fantastic flavor (which I enjoy on crackers), and just look at the nutrient content!

This is the only nut butter we have tried so far. We LOVE this product. It is a perfect balance of great taste and creamy texture. The chosen blend of nuts is just right! We enjoy it on bananas and apples, and it is the ideal substitute for the classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

I agree with the other reviews here. While this is the most healthful mayo I have tried, outside of home-made, it is too sweet to be really called mayonnaise. Would the WFN family please consider making a less sweet version? Otherwise, the taste is very good and I highly recommend it. Thanks

I have used several brands of coconut flour, but just ordered the bulk bag from WFN...since I have had trouble finding it locally and it is a staple of our diet, we wanted to save and get the bulk size. We are grain free, so coconut flour is an important part of our basic batter recipe, cakes, and thickening. A little goes a long way, but this flour seems more finely ground and fresher giving a smoother consistency than other brands I have used.

I was hoping to have something that could replace whipped cream, so I ordered this to give it a try. Oh My Goodness! I make chocolate fudge ice cream with it and it tastes like a Mounds bar! I open up a package of this, fluff it up with a dash of Xylitol and a little Vanilla, and you think you died and went to heaven! Put it on the ice cream with some bananas and you have a banana split. Scoop some on your no grain cookies and you will never eat a regular cream filled cookie ever again! This product is beyond delicious.

I used this culture powder to make sauerkraut. I used white and purple cabbage, carrots, ginger and cilantro. I also added some liquid from Bubbie's brand sauerkraut since I needed some more liquid to keep the veggies covered. I let it sit a week and it is awesome! It tastes great, was absolutely easy and turned out perfectly. The directions that came with it were very helpful.

I bought a jar of this because I know it's a healthy choice. I was surprised to find that it's amazingly tasty! I thought it would be hard to switch, but I actually like the Wilderness mayo much better than the regular brands. My husband likes it too and he isn't usually "into" the food stuff that I like.
Also if you are a WAPF member/follower, this mayo uses the oil blend recommended by Sally Fallon and Mary Enig, and you don't have to buy giant bottles of oils to make it yourself.

I received the Hot Lemon Lip Balm as a free gift with an order and I thought "how nice". I left it in the kitchen since I had other balms in other rooms. After using it a couple of times, I found myself running to the kitchen for that balm even when others were right at my fingertips. It has a nice creamy feeling without stickiness .........and just a hint of lemon...... It has much longer lasting effects than anything I have ever used before and my lips are much smoother. It is a great product! I was disappointed about the casein, but am not allergic, nor vegan. As for mixing: quite easy use a small amount of warm water(not piping hot)then add to whatever else you are using. I eat this powder by itself, lol its great.

I have been eating mostly raw for several months now, and I never knew about the apparent controversy over agave syrup (is it good or bad?) When I did hear of this, I decided to check out my Favorite Brand of agave, which I buy at my local natural foods store in a big bottle that lasts a long time and tastes fantastic.
The bottle says "all natural" and "raw" and has a picture of a happy family on the label, but could this be a trick? What if it's really one of those heavily processed, chemically treated substances like the ones I read about online?
So, with my fingers crossed, I googled "Wilderness Family Naturals Agave", and believe me, I couldn't be more delighted by what I read about your agave syrup. I have to say your product has never let me down, in taste and quality, and I am so glad to know that there are people out there still willing to go the extra mile to ensure a high quality, natural product survives in a market where mass production, speed, and cost are increasingly top priority over taste, quality, and nutrition.

I agree the powder is somewhat hard to stir and get completely clump free unless put in a food processor. I find that mixing it in a small amount of warm water in a larger container helps lessen the clumps. I tend to like the clumps because the coconut powder itself is sooo yummy anyway. I find the powder form extremely convenient, especially when traveling. I also like the ability to control the thickness and strength of the coconut milk. I will continue to buy this product until they have solved the casein free issue, although that doesn't bother me all that much anyway. LOVE the product's flavor...makes excellent ice cream & desserts

A lot of organic walnuts are grown in China. These are grown in the USA and processed differently than most. We have bought WFN walnuts for years, I buy 4 bags at a time and freeze 3, keep 1 in the fridge. I bought this book because it was recommended to me by a nutritionist friend of mine. This book has a wealth of information about current food trends in this country and much of the misinformation fed to us by marketing ploys. Traditional foods and regional diets are discussed, as well as cultured dairy products, fermented vegetables and fruits, sprouted grains, and coconut products(to name a few). Some of the recipes are quite easy and some recipes are a little more complicated than I would like, but I find you can modify them to make them easier to prepare. The food is wholesome and delicious and helped me rethink previous notions of lowfat and nonfat diets. Great addition to my favorite cookbook shelf!

I've been looking for a natural, substitute to white sugar for a few years. Learned the awful truths about artificial sweeteners, found out that my body doesn't do well using honey or unrefined cane sugars, sugar alcohols, or agave syrup...so I had given up...and then I came across coconut sap sugar, and I have found what I need. It isn't as sweet as white sugar but that's good because I'm appreciating less sweetness in my foods. The calories for 1 tablespoon of coconut sap sugar is the same as 1 teaspoon of white sugar, and it has a little bit of a flavor that makes it taste good not just sweet. Works great as a brown sugar substitute, too, as it has that richer flavor. It's subtle flavor and sweetening is exactly what I was looking for, helping me appreciate the natural sweetness of foods, yet giving me that "sugar" taste I miss sometimes. Great in coffee, tea and cooking. I highly recommend giving it a try to see what you think!

I just received a jar of mango-tango from a friend and I can't believe how awesome it tastes. I can't stop eating it on a spoon right from the jar. Tonight I had it on some fresh strawberries and it added a gorgeous yummy taste and texture to my eating experience. I also had it on an English muffin and loved it! I love this stuff! Here's how I prepare it: I mix it in a ratio of 1 part coconut milk powder to 3 parts water. I heat it gently for a couple of minutes on the stove, stirring and squishing lumps out. I get the last few lumps out by mixing a few seconds with a portable mixer called Aero Latte ($15 at Bed Bath & Beyond.) I then store this coconut milk in glass jars in the fridge and use it for coffee creamer. This stuff whips up better than milk or half & half for lattes with the little mixer. It is incredible! Also, here's the best breakfast, ever: Make some quinoa and top with fresh blueberries, walnuts and stevia and pour warm coconut milk over it - TO DIE FOR!

I have been using shea butter products for years and love that they keep my hands and forearms from drying out, in spite of the fact that I bathe dogs regularly, each week. My chief complaint is the greasy feel and residue left on anything that I touch.This body butter goes on so easily---no greasy feeling,instantly absorbs and is long lasting.My skin feels soft and smooth in a natural way and not like skin with lotion on top of it...that is very important to me.I have purchased this same body butter for an older friend who has dry,itchy skin which may be due to medications. I will give it to him tomorrow and keep you posted.The ingredient that I felt may help him is the dead sea salt,since it has the same make up as our own body salt.

But once I tried this Hot Chocolate Mix with the raw cacao, natural coconut sweetener, and coconut milk I just can't go back to the others! The 17.2 oz Red Palm Oil was the last item we got around to trying in our order. For several years I have been using red palm oil, but this is the first time for Wilderness Family Naturals. I believe this is the BEST of any other brand out there. We were disappointed with the salad dressings we ordered, so we use the Red Palm Oil instead. My favorite is steaming fresh organic winter greens & using this oil along with spices like garlic powder, salt & pepper & a touch of vinegar as a dressing on the "cooked salad".

I tried all the other brands on the market and this is by far the best! It's smooth and creamy with no aftertaste. It literally melts in your mouth and doesn't have an overpowering coconut taste to it. Other brands have an oily aftertaste. I use it in place of butter and in all my cooking.

This is a great product product for cooking because all of the coconut flavor has been removed so it doesn't smoke. Buying the 5 gallon pail is the best value.
Coconut oil stores well. It doesn't go rancid. After a little over a year I am half way through my 5 gallons and it is as fresh as the day I got it.
I highly recommend this product for those looking for a good fat that stores well and is highly versatile.

I used coconut milk powder in place of half-and-half for my instant coffee. It's somewhat difficult to mix with hot water without some clumping but if I pre-grind it with instant coffee, I can usually eliminate all but the very small lumps. I consider the small lumps little coconut bombs, so it's all good.

I have been using this Turmeric for several years. Wilderness Family Naturals offers herbs and spices for ridiculously low prices, and you can readily use up a pound of this before it gets stale. Like everything else I have bought here, the Turmeric is very fresh and free of lumps or impurities. I mix a heaping spoonful (about 2 tsp) with sufficient Palm Oil to make a paste or slurry. I eat this once or twice a day.

Even though my pantry was full of various organic sugars, I ordered one bag of the coconut sap sugar. I made a double batch of oatmeal cranberry cookies using this sugar along with a small amount of brown sugar (I wanted my one bag of coconut sugar to last awhile). It creamed in well with the butter & eggs and imparted a perfect sweetness to the cookies. Plus, the crystals dissolve well. Tastes great - a wholesome good for you flavor & sweetness.
