This seasoning is specially formulated to add to wild rice. It is my favorite spice blend to use when I am quickly putting dinner together and just make plain wild rice as a side. I simply cook the wild rice and add a bit of this seasoning and some butter. It is a savory blend of herbs and salt. It also goes well on potatoes, in casseroles, vegetables and other concoctions. I have used it on fish and poultry, French fries (made in coconut oil of course), popcorn, sautéed kale, tomato sandwiches, cottage cheese, and a host of other foods. It is a nice blend to be able to grab when you are in a hurry, but want your creation to taste good.

I have been searching for years for this wild rice seasoning and I finally found it. I grew up spending my childhood in Minnesota and it was there that we discovered this seasoning. Every time my father would travel through he'd pick up a jar of this and some rice. Mom would make regular white rice, wild rice and mix in sour cream and this seasoning. Pure heaven in a bowl. I haven't had it in years and hope very much that it will come back in stock. It would make the perfect gift to my brother and mother! (It is also killer on popcorn!)
