Delicious Fresh Pecans

Our Texas pecans are certified organic and incredibly delicious. They’re grown on a small family farm in Texas and are the highest quality pecans available. These premium raw pecans are sold as full halves, not broken into pieces.

Once harvested, our pecans are activated, meaning they’re soaked and dehydrated at low temperatures. This breaks down the enzyme inhibitors in raw nuts that can affect nutrient absorption. Our Texas pecans for sale are tender and crispy and a delight to snack on raw or use in your recipes!

How Our Organic Texas Pecans Are Prepared

After sourcing our premium raw Texas pecans, we soak and dry them under controlled conditions in a USDA-inspected kitchen. Sally Fallon and the Weston A. Price Foundation suggest using this activation process to avail of the full nutritional benefits of the nut. We implement extra measures such as refrigeration and vapor barrier packaging to ensure you receive the freshest and best product possible.

After several cycles of soaking and rinsing and allowing the fresh pecans a little air, they will begin to germinate. This process starts to break down the phytates present in the nuts and unlocks the stored nutrients within them.

Once the soaking process is complete, the Texas pecans are dehydrated slowly at a very low temperature to give them a delicate crunch and extend their shelf life. This low-heat method preserves the nutrients while ensuring that the organic Texas pecans remain entirely raw.

The Health Benefits of Eating Nuts

According to the FDA, scientific evidence suggests that eating 1.5 ounces of most nuts daily can reduce your risk of heart disease. Our raw Texas pecans have a robust flavor and soft texture and provide an enjoyable way to meet this requirement. They may even help you lose weight and boost your cardiological health!
