Yogourmet yogurt starter is meticulously manufactured and scientifically balanced to ensure that you make a smooth, creamy and great tasting yogurt every time. The starter, when used with the Yogourmet Multi Electric Yogurt Maker, produces delicious yogurt in only 4 1/2 hours. Yogourmet yogurt starter is packed in sealed, double-layered envelopes for long-lasting quality. Yogourmet yogurt starter is available in boxes of 3 envelopes of 2 X 5 grams. Each envelope makes 2 liters of yogurt. Envelopes are divided in two sections of 5 grams to allow you to prepare only one liter at a time if desired.
Ingredients
Powdered skim milk, Sucrose, Ascorbic Acid, Lactic bacteria (L. Bulgaricus, S. Thermophilus, L. Acidophilus)

Four easy steps to Yogourmet yogurt and Creme Bulgare use 5 grams of starter per liter or quart of milk.
1. Heat one liter or quart of milk to 180°F (82°C) or bring to boiling point. Then let cool to 108-112°F (42-44°C).
2. Dissolve 5 grams of culture with a small amount of the lukewarm milk in a cup, then pour back into the litre or quart. Mix well.
3. Incubate 4 to 4 1/2 hours, or until the yogurt has reached desired firmness. May be used with any make of appliance, according to instructions.
4. Refrigerate to stop process.
Breme Bulgare: follow same instructions as for yogurt, using cream instead of milk.
