Coconut Cream is made exactly the same way as liquid coconut milk except it has a fat content (coconut oil content) of 24% making it even richer and giving it a thicker, creamier texture. When cold, this cream is the consistency of cream cheese. When warmer, it is like heavy whipping cream. Because of its high fat content, one 8 oz. carton contains almost 4 tablespoons of oil.


Coconut cream can be used as a creamer, "plopped" in sweet potato or pumpkin soups, or whipped into a "whipped cream" and plopped on fresh berries like yogurt, or used in curries, in the dip for coconut shrimp, or other recipes. It also makes great ice cream and pudding. Cream of Coconut is simply coconut cream that has been sweetened.


To make whipped cream:

  1. Place evaporated cane juice into a food processor and run it on high to "powder" the sugar crystals into smaller crystals. (It will look more like powdered sugar when it is finished).
  2. Open and pour one 8 oz. carton of coconut cream into a mixing bowl. Whip on high with hand beater for a minute or so until it begins to stiffen.
  3. To the beaten coconut cream add ¼ cup of "powdered" evaporated cane juice and 1 tsp. vanilla extract. Beat again until it forms soft peaks.
  4. Place bowl into refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Bring bowl out and whip until you have nice stiff peaks. This should take a minute or less.
  6. Taste it. It will be the best whipped cream you have ever had. When placed on fresh fruit, especially berries..........It is indescribably delicious.

This coconut cream is out-of-this-world. I use it for so many different things. It's the perfect, rich coffee creamer. I like it better than heavy cream. I am so glad you guys make this and we can buy it!! I will be buying this for a long time!

I was hoping to have something that could replace whipped cream, so I ordered this to give it a try. Oh My Goodness! I make chocolate fudge ice cream with it and it tastes like a Mounds bar! I open up a package of this, fluff it up with a dash of Xylitol and a little Vanilla, and you think you died and went to heaven! Put it on the ice cream with some bananas and you have a banana split. Scoop some on your no grain cookies and you will never eat a regular cream filled cookie ever again! This product is beyond delicious.
