Book - The Sprouting Book, by Ann Wigmore, paperback
The Sprouting Book by Ann Wigmore contains information in general on sprouting but goes beyond most sprouting books because it includes a large amount of detail on seed soaking and sprouting topics. She covers many easy homemade ways to sprout and soak seeds. In addition, she explains how to grow buckwheat lettuce and sunflower greens, which are considered sprouts but require soil for sprouting. There is a large variety of sprouts discussed in this book including those requiring "indoor gardening". A vast array of other seed foods are discussed such as: making cheese, yogurt, milk drinks, smoothies, cereals, breads, soups, dressings, desserts, and more. This book is more of a classic when it comes to soaking seeds and nuts, but it is extremely rich in basic seed soaking and sprouting information. The information is timeless!
