Green For Life by Victoria Boutenko is another good book for people looking to add more raw and green foods to their diet. As a raw foodist she makes the case for adding lots of greens to the diet, even greens growing in your yard or garden as weeds. This list includes plants like lamb's quarters, plantain, chickweed and purslane. She covers diet and its relationship to health with many testimonies to that relationship. The last chapter in the book contains 23 of her most favorite green smoothie recipes. The smoothies are unique, good tasting and nutrient dense.
