T-Shirts
These T-Shirts are superior in quality. The unique drawing on the front was done by a local artist in Ely, MN. Bob Carey is in his 80’s and writes humorous stories for Outdoor life and other magazines. He has also authored several books, is known for his drawings and painting of wildlife and nature, and is a distinguished wildlife enthusiast.
This drawing is of a bull moose (which live here in abundance) in ankle deep water munching on swamp grass (their favorite food). There are pine trees behind him and he displays a nice set of antlers.
Even after years of wear and numerous washings, these T-Shirts will not shrink, fade, or show sign of wear. They are 100% cotton, thick, absorbent, and all natural.
The pine color is like that of pine trees. It has the fresh, earthy color of the balsam, spruce and pine trees that grow in Northern Minnesota. Putty is the color of some of the washed stones along Lake Superior and rock ledges. It too is a very natural, warm color.
These T-Shirts are both over dyed and pre-washed. This means that have that soft, faded, relaxed look and feel, and they will never shrink, even though they are new.
Sweatshirts
The sweatshirts, both with and without hoods, are warm, thick and of excellent quality.
The hooded sweatshirt is 100 % cotton; it comes in pine (color), and is very warm.
The sweatshirt with no hood is 80% cotton and 20% polyester. It too is thick, warm and of a very nice quality. This sweatshirt comes in putty (color).
The inside of both sweatshirts is roughed like fleece. Both types of sweatshirts have the unique drawing done by Bob Carey. Both types of sweatshirts are over dyed and pre-washed just like the T-shirts and will hold up well with repeated washings.
Our family has both T-Shirts and Sweatshirts from this same manufacturer. Our family's shirts are now 4 years old. They have been worn continuously yet still look very much the same as the new shirts that just came in.
