It is all about the colors of the food you eat!!

If you are looking for the best places to get antioxidants, look for foods that have deep rich colors and look for the colors of the rainbow. Carotene is orange, lutein is dark yellow, lycopene is red, some other antioxidants like anthocyanadins and anthocyanins are purple and blue, as in many berries.

How are the berries freeze dried?

Ripe, fresh fruit is quickly chilled to temperatures below zero and at the very cold temperatures the moisture in the fruit is removed. Freeze dried fruit melts in your mouth and is rather crunchy. Use the whole fruit for your cereal, trail mix, or eat by the handful. Use the powdered berries for smoothies and drinks.

When we repackaged all these fruits for the first time, I found my children going through the garbage pulling the old packaging material out, turning it inside out, and licking them clean. They had berry powder all over them, but they absolutely loved it. So I took some pictures to share with you.
